Other Programs in our Community

The J. S. Wood Branch offers a variety of programs for all ages.

The Western Development Museum is the keeper of Saskatchewan’s collective heritage.  Through diverse exhibits, on Boomtown street, you can experience the sights and sounds of 1910 Saskatchewan.

This year, with help from Plan Canada, Child & Youth Friendly Saskatoon will be starting a Speaker's Bureau in Saskatoon.
The Speaker's Bureau is designed to engage youth between the ages of 14 and 22. They will meet monthly to discuss social justice issues with a focus on gender equality. They will work to identify and to try to resolve some of the local issues. We are hoping that young people will come out to the meetings to engage actively in the process.
Dates: Thursday, Oct. 12; Thursday, Nov. 16; Thursday, Dec. 14
Time: 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Place: Aden Bowman Collegiate (corner of Clarence Ave. and Taylor St.)
